The 43rd month.
Most people know about the 3-and-a-half-year great tribulation at the end of the age, that is 42 months, but Daniel tells us about a 43rd month that happens after Jesus comes back and even another 45 days after that!
Daniel 12:11-12
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
1290 days is 43 months! 1335 days is another 45 days.
Jesus returns at the 7th trumpet at the end of the 42nd month but the antichrist armies still surround Jerusalem for another month while Jesus and the raptured saints with resurrected bodies, is marching up from Bozrah (modern day Jordan).
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord
1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
From these scriptures we see that Jesus will come back at the last trumpet. The only trumpets we know of in the Bible that this could refer too, is the 7 trumpet judgments in the book of Revelation. It is also written this way in the book of Revelation itself, after the 7th trumpet is blown (Revelation 11:15-19), we see the heavens open, and Yeshua comes down. (Revelation 14:1) Only after this, the seven bowls of wrath is poured out. (Revelation 16:1) While Jesus is on earth and after we were raptured. The previous judgments were just that, judgments of God. not yet His wrath. There are only 7 bowls of Gods wrath. The Wrath of God is only poured out after Jesus came back, in the 43rd month and maybe into the 44th. We might be watching it all from the air. Jesus says it Himself in Isaiah 63, that His garments are stained with the blood of His enemies!
Isaiah 63:1-6
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
When Jesus arrives at Jerusalem, He will destroy the antichrist armies!
Zechariah 12 -14 gives us more information on how He will do it.
Zechariah 12:4-5
In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
So, there is only seven bowls of God's wrath. The 14 judgments that will be released before the bowls of wrath, during the tribulation is just judgments, not wrath. Surely, we are not appointed to the wrath of God, even if we are on earth until the last, the seventh trumpet is blown. Glory to God!
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
